1. Each store can have only two partners registered at any given time. Registered partners are the only ones with access to the storeroom (and cash register) of the store. An individual player can only be a registered partner in one store at any given time.

2. New stores will be sold via publicized auction by a council appointed auctioneer. Minimum bid will start at 4 million gold marks (urban), 2.5 million gold marks (suburban) or 1.5 million gold marks (boondocks) [See definition of urban, suburban and boondocks in Players Handbook under Building Houses and Castles]. This includes property costs, construction costs, administrative costs and city licence fee).

3. Existing stores can be sold by the owners as they see fit, be it via private auction, public auction, etc. unless they fall under Item 4 (in which case the existing owner(s) loses their right(s) to the store until back taxes are paid). Any changes to ownership MUST be reported to the gamemasters.

4. If one partner of a store leaves the game, suicides, takes a final death, is banned permanently or leaves the game permanently for any other reason, then that half of the store will be first offered to the remaining partner at one half of the current market value of the entire store, and if that partner does not want, or cannot afford, the cost it will be auctioned on the open market by the Nexus Auctioneer. Starting bids will commence at half of the current value for a store at that time.

5. If a store becomes empty or the registered partners are unable to stock it, city council will post an order within the store giving said partners an amount of time to restock and pay back taxes. If in the specified time the partners do not restock and pay back taxes, the council will change the locks and put the store up for auction. From the proceeds of the auction, council will take the back taxes plus a percentage portion to cover administrative costs for the auction, etc. Any funds left over will be split between the two registered partners equally.

6. All stores will be zoned to sell everything, however we do encourage players to provide speciality stores, i.e. Magic Shoppe, Armor Shop, Weapons Shop, etc.

If any player finds a loophole in this regulation, please inform a gamemaster. If anyone is found to be manipulating such a loophole without reporting it to a Gamemaster, punishment will be swift.
